A savings account designed for those impacted

We can only begin to comprehend what the West Maui community has gone through. Finding a sense of normalcy will take time, but finding the right partner with the right resources can make all the difference.  

During our nearly 70-year history, Central Pacific Bank has offered guidance and financial support when the community needed it most. Our new savings program for those affected by the wildfires is one example of our commitment to helping our customers rebuild. This program not only offers convenient access and safety, but also offers a special savings rate of 3.25% Annual Percentage Yield (APY)1, allowing you to make the most of the funds you have received. 

To qualify for this program, you must meet the following criteria:

Be a resident or own property in zip codes 96761, 96767, 96790 and 96768; and

2

Have received insurance payout for property or personal property damage due to Maui wildfires.

1. Annual Percentage Yield (APY) effective October 2, 2023. Interest rates may change at any time after the account is opened. $100 minimum deposit to open an account, $0 minimum balance to earn APY. Fees may reduce earnings on accounts. To participate in this program, you must reside in or own property in the following zip codes (96761, 96767, 96790, 96768) and have received an insurance distribution for property damage. Existing loans/lines secured by impacted property with Central Pacific Bank must be paid back in full before a savings account can be opened.
